We host events and create keepsakes for kids and kids at heart. We believe in nourishing our childlike vitality and awakening our creative spirits.
We invite both adults and kids to play, express, to make, to imagine, to believe in magic, to be silly, to ask questions, to connect, ponder, wonder and say what’s on their mind. After all, to create with wild abandon, is our human superpower.
In a world fuelled by hard and sad things, we want to embolden the creative children in all of us. Because they are the ones most capable of falling in love with life on earth, and protecting it.
A Bit About us.
My name is Matisse, I am a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, writer, entrepreneur, and lover of life. In no particular order.
Raised on a beach in Fiji, from beading bracelets, to writing stories and silly songs, I’ve spent most of my days creating in some form or another.
I’ve also spent a lot of time trying to understand and contribute to solving some of the world’s biggest problems (from working at NGOs committed to tackling the climate crisis, to a diplomatic agency tasked with fixing economic inequities, to documentaries focussed on catastrophes).
Some time ago, I realised that my ability to do the first (with childlike enthusiasm) made me capable of the second.
I think true peace requires a love for living on this planet together, and creativity, storytelling and self-expression are kindling for precisely that.

I am a 30 something year old adult-teenager, mother of two sporty girls, and two hectic Kelpies. A lover of craft, words, dancing, odd pretty things and good times.
I was born and raised in Fiji in the South Pacific. When I wasn’t daydreaming about being a marine biologist mermaid, climbing trees or trying to save all the stray animals, you could find me writing all of my thoughts (and about my crushes) in my journals, while simultaneously making beaded bracelets or choreographing our next family item – all skills that really should pay the bills – so here we are!
I spent my early adulthood working in creative fields, advertising and marketing and then made a switch about a decade ago to community and stakeholder engagement on large construction projects, building roads and bridges – I still get so excited watching new roads and bridges take shape, for me it scratches a lego, building blocks and tonka truck itch all at once.
I like to laugh and play and usually follow my curiosity down many rabbit holes, just as this bio has done for you. I have no final words of wisdom to impart but as Ronan Keating once said, life is a rollercoaster baby, you just gotta ride it. AND don’t EVER forget about glitter, giggles and sleepover parties with your pals.
