Our Storybook Making Kids Course!
Over 8 weeks, kids make their very own storybook, from developing characters to designing front covers.
In small after-school groups, we imagine our stories, storyboard them out (using strong narrative structure), draft our words, illustrate (or collage) pictures, and bind our AMAZING handmade books … ready to take home. At the end of term we also host a gorgeous reading at our (stunning) local bookstore, so the kids can get a taste of life as an author.
The course is full of creative fun – led by mum, storyteller and part-time tutor, Matisse Walkden-Brown.
THE NEXT COURSE:
WHERE: Go Create Art Studio Thirroul – Shop 9, Thirroul Plaza.
WHEN: Every Tuesday at 4:00pm to 5:15pm – from February 10 to March 31, 2026.
WHO: Kids ages 7 to 12 (limited space)
HOW MUCH: $280 for all 8 sessions ($35 a session, supplies included).
